The 1861 UK Census enumerates Samuel Riches, age 22, with his parents on their farm in Blofield, Hassingham, Norwich, Norfolk.

These were 5 children born to Samuel and Lydia: Walpole 1869, Coleman 1870, Fanny 1872, Riches 1874 and Alice Barallan 1875. Walpole and Coleman immigrated to the United States. Alice moved to China. Actually, there was a twin to Fanny born in 1872 - at the moment, I have no proof of this.

Samuel Riches Nockolds died April 21, 1920 at Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk, England and is buried in St Margaret's Churchyard with his wife, Lydia Coleman at Hopton-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth Borough, Norfolk, England.
