Died: - Wednesday, January 16th, at his home on Main street, S.C. Carr, at the age of 72 years. He had been having the grip and fever for a few days. He died suddenly and unexpectedly as the family did not think him so ill. He was an old soldier and had been in poor health, having had heart trouble for some time.
He was born May 6th, 1827 in the state of Pennsylvania.
The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family.
The funeral was preached, yesterday, by Rev. G. Barth, at the home, at two o'clock and the remains interred in Elmwood cemetery.
