Frieda Knorr
Frieda Knorr, 78, of Midland, Texas, formerly of Fremont, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 1992, at a Texas hospital.
She was born Nov. 19, 1913, in Gresham, where she grew up. She and her husband lived on a farm in Waco after they married until 1939. Then they moved to Utica. In April 1953, the family moved to Fremont. They went on to Midland in August 1987.
She married Walter Knorr Aug. 11, 1935, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gresham. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dennis of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary of Hobbs, N.M.; two daughters, Mildred Daehling of Midland and Bernice Hoppmann of Phoenix; three brothers, Otto and Johnny Fehlhafer, both of Utica and Herman Fehlhafer of Seward; a sister, Dorthea Ruckdaeschel of Seward; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Midland with the Revs. Ray Johansen and Donald Haefmann officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Midland. Ellis Funeral Home in Midland is in charge of arrangements.
