Maxine was the daughter of my great aunt Rosie Roderick Hunt and great uncle Charlie Hunt. One afternoon she got too close to the fire place and her dress caught fire. Both of her parents were outside working at the time. Maxine ran out of the house screaming and then collapsed. By the time my aunt and uncle reached her it was too late.
