Killed in France during WWII

A letter written by Billy Charles to the magazine, Reminisce, published February/March 2015, follows:

"DID YOU KNOW MY BROTHER?"

Private B.F. Loden entered the (US) Army on January 19, 1943. I have very little information because his records were burned in a fire in St. Louis, (Missouri.)

B.F. served with Co. B, 206th Engineer Combat Battalion of the 1139th Engineer Combat Group. He was sent to England and trained for the D-Day incasion. His last letter said he was in France. He was killed near Chambley-Bussieres, France, on his 21st birthday. I believe he hung out with a group of guys from around the Waco area. I would like any information available, including the date he crossed the channel and battles fought.
