Huffine""Funeral services for Mrs. Dora S. Huffine, 37, former local resident who died Thursday at South Bend after an 18-month illness of heart disease, will be held Friday morning at 8 o' clock at the Holy Cross Church in South Bend. The body will then be brought to here and may be viewed at the Mungovan & Sons mortuary from noon until 2 o' clock Friday afternoon. Burial will take place in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at New Haven (Indiana). Survivors include the husband, Robert E. Huffine; five sons, Robert Jr., William, James, Gerald, and Richard Huffine; two daughters, Mary Alice and Ardel Huffine, all at home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank France of this city; three brothers, O.E. and Madison France of this city and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Callahan and Mrs. Ralph Koontz of this city, and Mrs Carl Coddington of Indianapolis." This is the obituary as it appeared in the Fort Wayne, Indiana newspapers on 13 July 1937.
