LEBANON, Tenn. – Pearlie Mary Stokes, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at The Pavilion in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born Oct. 31, 1918, in Georgia to Joseph and Betty Haney. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed gardening and canning.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Little Brown Cemetery with Bro. Eldon McVey officiating. McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Barrow of Lebanon; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvie Buford Stokes; her son, Billy Eugene Burkes; her son-in-law, Jerry Barrow; two brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today and until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
