Services for C.E. "Cliff" Sherley, 89, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with Dan Rouse officiating.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
He died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003.
He was born Dec. 25, 1913, at Kingston, Okla. He married Geraldine Clark in 1956 at Lubbock. She died March 15, 1995. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked as a salesman for the Stevens Co. until retiring.
He was a longtime resident of Lubbock and a member of the Sunset Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by three sons, Clifton L. "Cricket" Sherley, Francis L. "Buddy" Sherley and Robert Leon Stuart.
Survivors include two sons, Clark Cooper of Las Vegas, Nev., and E. Don Stuart of Texas; two daughters, Joan Stephenson of Chandler, Ariz., and Barbara Floyd of Kaufman; a brother, John Birchet Sherley Jr. of California; a sister, Olean Henyan of Las Vegas; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
