Funeral services were held here last Thursday for Mrs. Mary Isabel Thomason, 83, in the Spur church of Christ, Charles Adams, minister, officiated.

Mrs. Thomason died in Deaf Smith County Hospital in Hereford. she had resided in Dickens County since 1917, but moved January 1, to Castro County.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Thomason, Dimmitt and Elmer Thomason, Spur; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Church, Littlefield, Mrs. Edna Armstrong, Olton; three sisters, Mrs. Jim Jordan, Eastland, Mrs. May Collins, Tucson, Arizona and Mrs. Farley Lender, Azle, Texas; three brothers, R.D. Weaver, Levelland F.C. Weaver, Southland, and Jim Weaver, Carbon.

Twenty-five grandchildren and forty-one great grandchildren also are listed as survivors.

Pallbearers were Jimmie Hahn, Raymond Powell, Willie Williams, Jay Austin, Thurman Hoover, Willie Smith, Jimmie Paronto, and Wilson Hagins.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
