At the age of 33, Nora died of pneumonia in John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Nora Lee and William Amos Hurst had just become the parents of a son, Thomas Amos Hurst born December 12, 1912, 6 days earlier. Thomas Amos Hurst was raised by his father.
Nora is buried in the Oddfellows Rest section of Old Cahill Cemetery. This is now a part of the main Galveston Evergreen Cemetery on Broadway Street in Galveston, Texas. Malloy and Son Funeral Home handled her funeral. There is no gravestone however, I did take a photo of the grass where the cemetery manager took me.

Nora's birth certificate states Cahill Cemetery. The name has been changed to Evergreen Cemetery.
