Mrs. Nancy E. Crayne, widow of Joseph Crayne, died at her home, four miles east of Waynesburg, Saturday evening, May 31, aged 49 years, after a lingering illness of several months from cancer of the stomach. Her husband, Joseph Crayne, died about two months age, having been fatally injured by being thrown from a buggy. Mrs. Crayne was a daughter of William and Martha A. Gordon, deceased. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist church and was highly esteemed. She is survived by three children, Harry, Stella and Florence, at home.
