Ezekiel Phillips Hagaman married Elizabeth Duckworth on June 16, 1832 at the Alexandria First Presbyterian Chapel Church. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Holloway Whitfield Hunt (1769-1858). Rev. Hunt was a son of Augustine Hunt and Lydia Holloway Hunt.
Ezekiel and Elizabeth had twelve children and lived in Swinesburg, New Jersey. Elizabeth (Duckworth) Hagaman was a daughter of Isaac and Mary (Gulick) Duckworth. Ezekiel married married Mary VanHise on March 12, 1872. Rev. Andrew B. Larison of Amwell officiated. By 1875, he was living with his cousin James Monroe Hagaman in Ringoes at the former Abraham Hagaman plantation.
He later returned to Swinesburg to live.
He is buried in the Barber Burying Ground
