J.C. Jerome, 61, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Horton Community Hospital. She was born on August 5, 1947 in Monmouth, Illinois the daughter of Earl & Bonita Johnson Cole. J.C. worked as a para educator and training facilitator for many years. On August 14, 1989 she married Larry Jerome in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include sons, Roger & wife Lori Goben of Davenport, Iowa, Mark & wife Tho Goben of Hastings, Nebraska, Chad & wife Summer Goben of Horton, Kansas and Beau Goodell of Wichita, Kansas; daughter, Bonnie Goben & partner Suzanne Dennis of Olathe, Kansas; Step son, Larry Dean & wife Candy Jerome of Parkville, Missouri; grandchildren, Matt, Jenni, Marcila, Burgan, Ally, Cole, Morgan, Ellis, Nga, Tram, Tony and great grandchild, Irianna Jaycie; Private graveside services will be held at the Brush Creek Cemetery southeast of Horton, Kansas.
