Rose M. Wiley, 43, Sterling Street, died Wednesday morning in Samaritan Medical Center, of acute respiratory failure due to pneumonia.
Mrs. Wiley was a waitress for a time and later moved to New Jersey, where she cared for race horses for several years. She returned to Watertown in 1996.
Born May 12, 1959, in Watertown, daughter of Allen E. and Mary A. Lawton Blake, she attended Watertown schools.
A marriage to Donald J. Wiley ended in divorce.
She loved cats.
Surviving besides her mother of Watertown are two brothers, five sisters, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A brother, Jack Blake, died in 1972.
