Harold H. Walton passed away at his home in the care of his loving wife, Sandra. Hal was born in Provo, Utah, to Wilhelmina (Minnie) and the late Harold B. Walton on Oct. 25, 1937. He served in both the Navy and the Air Force. Later, he taught at the University of Utah for several years before moving to Stephenville, Texas, in 1971. Here he happily taught Government and Constitutional Law, as well as several other classes at Tarleton State University.

Hal married his wife, Sandra, in a ceremony by a stream in the Utah Mountains on June 19th, 1972. Numerous family members attended. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, and his wonderful Stephenville family: Craig, Lori, and Kensie Colegrove, and Casi and Tyler Dunn, as well as many friends and former students.

His out of state family consists of his beloved sons and their wives: Jeff and Robyn Walton, Robb and Dana Walton, and James and Zandra Walton, and by Jeff and Marsha Colegrove and their children and grandchildren with whom he enjoyed seeing when he and Sandra vacationed every year in Utah. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ann Lee, and her sons, as well as Sandra's family. He was preceded in death not only by his father but, also, his brother-in-law, Jeff Lee and Sandra's parents, Arthur L. and Bernice Grant Casper.

According to his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services. Stephenville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank all of our friends for their thoughtfulness and the Hospice "family" for all of the love and kindness shown by them and his two main caregivers, Yolanda and Pat.
