Melton, born Sept. 11, 1912, to the late Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Jamison of Marks, was formerly of a member of the Batesville Presbyterian Church, member of the Daughter's of American Revolution and the Friends of the Library. She was a retired legal secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Lowry Melton.
Survivors include: one sister, Linda Jamison Patridge of Batesville.
