A plain marble slab in St. Peter's Churchyard is inscribed: "In memory of James Parker, who died 4th of October 1797, aged 72 years; and of Gertrude, wife of James Parker, who died 10th of February 1811, aged 71 years. The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance."
