Randy Salers, 62, a store owner and driller supervisor, of Carthage, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at his home.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Congregational Methodist Church with Bro. Larry Farmer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A Leake County native, he was a member of Renfroe Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, David Randall Salers, Carthage; two daughters, Lisa Murray, Bogue Chitto, and Monica Paige Sherrill, Richland; a brother, Larry Salers, Carthage; a sister, Dian Grundy, Carthage, and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kevin Kemp, Bobby Fulton, Danny Salers, Vernon Whittington, Steve Howell and Jeff Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Spc. Robert C. Byers, Johnny Jordan and Buddy Smith.
