The story goes that George is not buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. He "IS" buried along with his parents, Stephen & Susanna Winton and others of the family in "Stephen Winton Cemetery" Hillboro-Viola Rd. Winton Town, Tennessee. The tombstones were rescued by Frank McColloch at the cemetery when the area was being bulldozed. The stones were taken to Frank's home where they remained until Bob Sherwood picked them up, brought them to his home, pieced them back together, put them on bases and took them to Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Stones were place in the same row with Stephen & Susannah's son Thomas Jefferson and his family.
