Catharine Kerlin was the daughter of John (Johnannes) Kerlin, Sr. and Elizabeth Hill Kerlin. Catharine Kerlin had five brothers and three sisters.

Catharine Kerlin married Peter Jones, Jr. on October 13, 1772. They had fifteen children.

Catharine Kerlin was a younger sister of my ancestor, Thomas Kerlin. Thomas Kerlin was a Revolutionary War Patriot, serving as a Surgeon's Mate.
