Surrounded by her loved ones, Anna Maria Bernal, Age 50, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Odessa Regional Hospital. She was born in Odessa, Texas to Thomas and Josephine Moreno. On August 08, 1978, she married Benjamin Orta Bernal. She was a homemaker and spent her time volunteering and caring for her loved ones. She was adored by many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her mother and father: Josephine and Thomas Moreno both of Odessa, Texas; two sons: Benjamin and Luis Bernal both of Odessa; four daughters: Rachel Camacho and husband Jose, and Sarah, Elizabeth and Abigail Bernal, all of Odessa; three sisters: Susie Lara of Odessa, Carmen Moreno of St. Paul, MN and Norma Moreno of Odessa; two brothers: Adam and Eddie Moreno, both of Odessa; and six grandchildren as well as two on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Orta Bernal and three brothers: Tommy, David and Frank Moreno.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Highway Temple Assembly of Odessa, officiated by Pastor Betty Yocham. Interment will follow at Rose Hill section of Ector County Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
