MOORES Martha Jane Moores, of Clearwater Beach, died Thursday, March 12th. Born in Hope, IN on October 12, 1937, she relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1974, where she spent many joyful years. She had a distinguished career with the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. In 2006, she relocated to Clearwater Beach to be closer to her son, Christopher and granddaughter, Olivia. Martha Jane was an active member at Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church. Her passion for life was only surpassed by her faith. Her passion was shared with many friends and family members, including sister Mary Beth Covert, and brothers Richard Thayer and Mark Thayer. Martha was preceded in death by her loving parents Orrin and Sarah Thayer of Hope. Memorial Services are to be held Tuesday March 24, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 118 E Monroe St., Jacksonville, FL 32202 (904) 354-8439 Colorful attire is appreciated.
