early life to this section; was married
in 1863 to Melinda A. Baird, daughter
of the late Adonijah Baird of Ira,
and after a long period of ill health
passed away February 11, 1902. The
funeral was attended from the family
residence the Saturday following
his death. Appropriate words were
spoken by the Rev. Loring B. Chase,
pastor of the Congregational church,
after which tho remains were deposited
in the Lysander cemetery.
