Funeral services for Ellis Coleman LEATHERWOOD Sr., 74, of 211 W. Francis, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church.
LEATHERWOOD, a retired cafe owner, died Thursday in a hospital here. He had lived in Baytown 15 years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ola LEATHERWOOD of Baytown; three sons, Granville G. LEATHERWOOD of Flagler, Fla., Joe W. LEATHERWOOD and E. C. LEATHERWOOD, Jr., both of Baytown; a brother, Issiac LEATHERWOOD of Richardson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Roy CLOUDT and the Rev. John HEATON will officiate in the funeral service. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, under direction of Earthman Funeral Home.
LEATHERWOOD was a deacon at Second Baptist Church and a ember of the Senior Citizens Club.
Pallbearers will be Fisher ODEM, I. G. LEA, Aron McMANUS, John LASHLEE, W. D. MACON, Sid GUEST, G. B. HOLLINGSHEAD and R. C. CHRISTIAN. Deacons of Second Baptist Church are honorary pallbearers.
