There seems to be a difference in the date of death. According to Raymond's Texas Death Certificate, he died on 8 Oct 1954 while his military headstone reflects a date of death as 9 Sep 1954. I prefer to use the date of death shown on the death certificate until someone can provide a source, besides the military headstone picture, stating his date of death was in deed 9 Sep 1954.
