Final rites for Henry E. Randle, 75, of Delphi, retired farmer were held at 2:00 Sunday at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi. Rev Loran Campbell officiated and burial was made in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
His death ocurred at 8:30 a.m. Friday at his home. He had been in ill health for some time.
Born in Hendricks County, June 29, 1882, he was the son of James E. & Mary E. Wynkoop Randle. His marriage in 1903 was to Rosa E. Simons who died in 1941.
Survivors are six daughters and four sons, Mrs. Olive Miller route 2 Monitcello, Mrs Edith H Taylor, Donovan Ill; Mrs Alberta Turnpaugh, Morrocco, In; Mrs Bessie Holman, Detroit, Mich; Mrs Catherine Burley & Mrs Thelma Peterson & Charles J Randle of Delphi; Orville, Flora, Orlie, Logansport & Aaron, Delphi.
Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, two brothers & two sisters, James, Lebabon; Roy, Frankfort; Mrs Mable Ragsdale, Lebanon; & Mrs Ruth Taylor, Clarksdale.
