-----------------
Death certificate # 18685 is a little confusing, says Greene County, Brighton. Had Springfield but is crossed out. If he died in Greene County, Springfield would be correct, but if he died in Brighton then that is Polk County, It is your choice here. I live in the area my guess is that he died in Polk County and was taken to Springfield (Greene County) to the funeral home.
After this e mail I did some research and checked the death cert. Male, white, widower. His occupation was retired farmer. Living in Brighton, MO RR#1 Date of birth was unknown shown to be about 73. M L Adams same rural route was the informant named on the death cert. Cause of death cancer. J W Klingner & Co funeral home. Interred in Hazelwood Cemetery May 9, 1939.
