Mary Ellen Wiggs Chadwick, 82, of Ruleville died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Kimbro Funeral Home with the Rev. Higdon Harrington officiating. Burial followed at Belen Cemetery in Belen under the direction of Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks.
Chadwick was born on Sept. 22, 1926, in Sunflower County. She attended Belen Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Britt of Minter City and Linda Wing of Walls; one son, U.N. Wing of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to North Sunflower Medical Foundation or Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility in Ruleville.
