Elizabeth Addie Robinson Witsil

Died May 12, 2009 in Hendersonville, TN at age 90.

She was the daughter of Myra Addie Deisem Robinson and William James Robinson and was born in Wilmington, DE. She was a Dame in Magna Carta and member of the Daughters of the Revolution. She was a soloist in the choir and played the organ and piano at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, where services were held on May 15, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Witsil, Jr., their daughter Charlene Elizabeth, and her brothers, John A. Robinson and Robert T. Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Clyde Elmo Longmire in 1981.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Arlene Robinson and nieces: Deborah Ann Floyd, Linda Talley Hess, Joanne Robinson, Barbara Lynne Schurga, April Leigh Willenborg, Lisa Meredith Robinson, Anne Witsil Draudt, Pamela Witsil, Janet Witsil Randel, Marilyn Gerriets; nephews: Robert T. Robinson, Jr., Steven P. Witsil, Robert V. Witsil, Jr., D. Richard Witsil, Matthew W. Witsil, Thomas Gemmill, Wayne Gemmill, brother-in-law Donald R. Witsil, and step-daughter Jane Longmire Reynolds.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday May 19, 2009 in Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery, 701 Delaware Ave., Wilmington, DE 19801.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to In Christ Way, c/o Henderson First United Methodist Church, 217 East Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075.
