On the 1870 Clark Co., Ohio Census, I found farmer Alexander McCreight, "54" with $45K in real estate, Pennsylvania born; Anna Blount, 40, Pennsylvania; John A Blount, 2__, Ohio; Alexander Wilson, 14, Ohio (Anna's nephew, sis died in childbirth) and domestic servant, Martha Fletcher, 40, Virginia.
On the 1880 Clark Co., Ohio Census, I found head Anna D. Blount, 55; son John, 31; dau. in law Sarah, 30; grandsons: Harry, 5; William P., 3 and brother Alexander McCreight, 44. Anna & Alex, born in Pennsylvania, the rest born in Ohio.

On the 12 Jun 1900 Springfield Ward 2, Clark Co., Ohio census, I found widow Anna Blount, 75, Pennsylvania born, had 1 child, living; son John A Blount, 51, Ohio; daughter in law (married 26 years) Sarah L Blount, 50, Ohio, had 2 kids, 1 living; grandson Harry T Blount, 25, Ohio born and servant Martha Fletcher, 73. They resided at 385 North Lime Lane.
Alexander McCreight and his sister Anna, lived on the homestead farm, which is beautifully located just beyond the city limits on North Limestone street. Anna was married, March 21, 1848 (see marriage license date above). to John R. Blount, with whom she lived happily but eighteen short months, when that dread destroyer, cholera, removed him from her, leaving her and their only child to mourn his loss. The Ferncliff Ridge cemetery plot plan (see photo) for plot 51 was the McCreight family plot. "J. Blount" is buried beside "A BLAUMT" (sic). The cemetery office records Anna D BLAUMT was buried here on 6 July 1900 in Section A, lot 51, space 5.
The Clark County, Ohio Record of Deaths, Probate Court, register, p 44-45, line #31, states widow Anna D Blount, died 4 July 1900, aged 75 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born in Pennsylvania and was residing at 285 N Limestone in Springfield, Ohio. Her unnamed son was the informant and she died from paralysis.
