The only child of Charles Alexander and Mary Helen Stout Stafford. Donald married Sue Jo Holveck on April 25, 1968 in Dallas County, Texas.

Donald left this life too soon, and he is very much missed. He was a foreman for DP&L, and was killed in a freak accident while working on the job in Dallas.
