OBITUARY:

James Pauley
GARRETTS BEND - James Andrew Pauley, 80, of Garretts Bend, Lincoln County, died Wednesday in Charleston General Hospital.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Surviving: sons, Ralph and Harold, both of Garrett's Bend, Lyle of Salem, Va., daughters, Mrs. John Bauknecht of Portage Creek, Ind., Mrs. Marshal Adams and Mrs. Howard Bird, both of Sod, Mrs. Kyle Dunlap of Teays Valley, Mrs. William Moore of St. Albans; brothers, Wirt E. and Delmar. both of Charleston, Ward of Logan; 18 grandchildren: six greatgrandchildren.
Service will be 11 a. m. Friday in Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with the Rev. Clark Bryan and the Rev. C. A. Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery at
Garretts Bend.
Friends may call after 6 p. m. today.
