Grandpa Horace was a superb story teller. He always planted a garden and once raised a hog that was a thousand pounds. He was a prayerful man and a Deacon at two churches, Union Ridge Baptist Church, Hydraulic Rd., Charlottesville, VA and Free Union Baptist Church, Stony Point, VA.

Father of Fannie Elizabeth Solomon who died in infancy of Spinal Meningitis. 1/21/1912 - 12/14/1912
