Graveside funeral services for James E. Wyatt, 64, Valliant, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, in the Watson Cemetery. Troy Ruffin will officiate, assisted by Lee Mussett. Miller & Miller Funeral Home, Valliant, is in charge of arrangements. Wyatt died March 23, 2009, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1945, in Cherry Hill Ark., the son of Virgle Wyatt and Bessie Cottrell Wyatt. He had lived most of his life in the Valliant area. He was a truck driver and had also spent several years in Law en-forcement in Lincoln County, La. He was of the Baptist faith.
Wyatt was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eu-gene, and Edmond Wyatt.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Donaldson; five sons, Billy McDaniel of Grandbury Texas, Wesley McDaniel of Poteau, Jeff-rey Wyatt of Willow River, Mont., Nathan McDaniel of Grandbury, Texas, and Zackarey McDaniel of Idabel; one daughter, Jean Harris of Cherryville, Kan.; one brother, John Wayne Wyatt of Eagletown; five sisters, Rebecca Oglesby of Mena, Ark., Lillie Mae Hatter of Madill, Donita Thweatt of Broken Bow, June Towery of Golden and Linda Prewitt of Golden; and 14 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
