CROSS PLAINS - Callie Meador, 89, died Friday at a local nursing home.
Services were Sunday at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with John Swift officiating. Burial was in Cross Plains Cemetery.
Mrs. Meador was born in Callahan County and was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She married J. Henry Meador in 1925 in Cross Plains; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Johnnie Mae Fore of Cross Plains; one brother, Bud Ingram of Lingleville; and one sister, Winnie Luttrell of Baird.
