Hazel Ledbetter Tidwell, 92, of Malvern, passed away, October 19, 2011 at an area hospital. She was born February 2, 1919, to William Edgar and Bertie Gertrude Spurlin Ledbetter in Friendship, Arkansas.

Hazel's passions were her family and attending Calvary Baptist Church where she held her membership. She was a retired floor supervisor at Levi-Strauss Company.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Wallace Lee Tidwell of forty years and Everett Langston of twenty years; two sisters, Fanny Sue Norwood and Adele Dodd; three brothers, James Coy, Eugene, and Billy Joe Ledbetter.

She is survived by her sons, Wallace Lee Tidwell (Sue) of Atlanta, Georgia; and James Lyndal Tidwell (Tamara) of Little Rock; sister, Joann sims of Friendship, AR; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Monday, October 24, 2011 AM. Visitation will be held October 23, 2011 at Atkinson Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with Rev Bob Loyd officiating.
