Born in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of Yvonne (Marcotte) Madden also of Haverhill and the late Frederick D. Snow, Sr.
He was educated in Haverhill and attended the Haverhill Trade School. He also served in the US Navy (1957-1961) as a Sonar Specialist. He was the owner of Snow Motors from 1968-1974 as well as Spartan Electronics from 1982-1987. At the time of his passing, he was CEO and President of Kidder Concrete Cutting Co, in Plaistow, NH. A longtime member of the Saggahew Lodge AF & AM and a lifetime member of the Amvets, Mr. Snow also enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He especially loved to watch and feed wild birds.
He was predeceased by his brother, Frederick D. Snow, Jr, to whom he was especially close. Steve is survived by his daughter, Lisa White and her husband John, of Newton, NH and his son Robert Snow of Salisbury, MA and their children Alexandra & Brandon. He also leaves four sisters-Carolyn Damour, Wendy Fogg, Kim Snow and Laurel Corelle and a brother, John Prue as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also missed by his beloved friend and companion, Joanie Weaver of Jensen Beach, FL.
Mr. Snow was completely devoted to his grandchildren Alex & Brandon and described them as "the joy that sustained him" through his lengthy and difficult illenss.
Steve is sadly missed by all who knew him and especially his daughter Lisa, who remains devoted to his memory.
He is interred at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
