James was the fifth of Robert Lee & Ethel Delia (Vincent) Love's children. His siblings were:Annabelle, David, Earl, Mose, Ray, Robert, Jr., Odis, Billy Joe, & Nancy Jane.
James married Pauline Holder in Ardmore on December 3, 1941. Their sons were Robert & Glenn.

James & Pauline were on the trip to CA when my grandfather, Sam Love, was killed in Paducah, TX. After the accident they returned to Ardmore, along with my parents, etc. I have pleasant memories of the times they visited us in Modesto, CA.
Pauline died on September 8, 2002. James died the following year on March 29, 2003.

Married to Pauline Holder on Dec. 3, 1941, in Ardmore, he moved to Irving, Texas in 1965 and worked for the City of Irving in the water utilities department until he retired. He returned to Oklahoma seven years ago, making Thackerville his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 8, 2002; his parents; four brothers and a sister.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Love and his wife, Carolyn, Thackerville, and Glenn Love and his wife, Patricia, Ardmore; two brothers, Earl and Mose Love, also Ardmore; three grandchildren, Kenneth Love, Chad Love and Kelly Robbins; and a great-grandchild, Corey Smith.
