Mrs. Johanna Hartvigsen Nielsen Barfuss 86, of Logan died Tuesday evening in Logan.
She was born Jan. 30, 1864, in Kvadtford, Norway, a daughter of Hartvig and Andrea Jacobsen Nielsen. She came to the United States in 1909 and settled in Downey, Ida., where she remained for 20 years before moving to Logan in 1932.
She was married in 1932 to Christian Barfuss in Downey Ida. He died March 15, 1942. She was an active LDS church worker in Logan.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters. Alf Nielsen, Norway; Mrs. Agnes Charettie, Downey, Ida.; Mrs Andrea H McGuire, Logan; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 1 p.m., in Logan Fifth ward chapel, by Bishop Joseph N Symons. Friends may call at the Kenneth Lindquist 10 a.m. until time of rites.
Burial will be in Providence City cemetery.
