Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ainsworth, 72, were held last Thursday afternoon from the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with the Reverend Travis Carter officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Falmouth. A native of Suwannee County, she had made her home in Lacoochee for the last 29 years. She was a member of the local Advent Christian Church. Mrs Ainsworth came here recently when she became ill and passed away last Tuesday week in the Suwannee County Hospital. Survivors include her husband, George L. Ainsworth of Lacoochee; three sons, Albert Hardee, Tampa, and Raymond Hardee and Mack Hardee, both of Live Oak; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Clayton, St. Petersburg, Mrs. Lillie Thomas, Wellborn, and Mrs. Maggie Paige, Dade City; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Suwannee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Perry Lashley, Dan Carroll, Bernice Warner, John Howland, Hubbard Gray and Herb Lewis.
