KERMIT, TX - Manuel N. Pando Sr. age 51 of Kermit, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born January 16, 1955 in Santa Elena, Mexico to Juan and Marcela (Natividad) Pando. He was a longtime resident of Kermit where he and his wife of 35 years, Mary Helen, raised six children. Manuel was owner of Ranch Maintenace, a professional fence building company. Manuel was also an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses, worshiping at the local Kingdom Hall in Monahans, where he also served as a minister. Manuel also served as a longtime Elder in Kermit before the english speaking congregation was merged with Monahans.
Manuel is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Elida Orozco.
