CUERO - Mrs. Frances E. Bauer, 54, of Cuero died in a Cuero hospital Tuesday night.
Mrs. Bauer was born in the Stratton area, near Cuero, Feb 24, 1917, daughter of Sam and Minnie Smith Kirland. She married Lawrence A. Bauer Jr., in Cuero Oct 12, 1936.
Services will be conducted at Fruend Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Bob Hairston, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Survivors are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robbert Egg of Meyersville; a son, Lawrence A. Bauer III of Cuero; two brothers, Edward Kirland of Cuero and Sterling Kirkland of Cooperas Cove, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Kuester, Mrs. Charles York and Mrs. Albert Ermis of Cuero, Mrs. C. E. Fechnek of Yorktown and Mrs. Robert Bradford of Houston, and three grandchildren.
