MACK SMITH DIES AT HOSPITAL HERE

Mack Smith, 72, retired farmer of Weaver, died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at Anniston Memorial Hospital, following an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Eulaton Methodist Church with the Rev. L.D. Doss and the Rev. Emmett Smith officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Colonial in charge. The body will lie in state at the residence of Carl Hamilton, Anniston. Rt. 3, until services tomorrow.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pernie Smith; four sons, Doe Smith of Weaver, Leroy Smith, Anniston, Rt 3. Bill Smith, Anniston, Rt 3 and Floyd Smith, of Weaver; four daughter, Mrs. Lillian Finch of Weaver, Mrs. Margaret Hamilton, Anniston, Rt 3, Miss Bertha Smith of Anniston, Rt 3, and Mrs. Gertrude Blankenship, Anniston Rt 3; one half- sister, Mrs. Katie Parnell, Five Points; 33 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Mitchell, Norman Hamilton, Bert Hamilton, L H Hutto, Johnny Rhinehart and Elbert McCary.
