"Mrs. Ruby Jones, 98, dies"
"Mrs. Ruby D. Jones, 98, died early this morning at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan.
Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 16, 1897 in Sutton, Nebraska to Frank and Amanda Hackney Dunlap. The third of five children, she spent her early years in Sutton.
The family then moved to Julesburg where she completed her education.
On May 22, 1920 she was married to Raymond Jones. They made their home in Ovid and in 1970 she moved to Fort Morgan where she lived at Hillcrest Apartments for many years.
Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Roberta Weisgerber of Fort Morgan. There are six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, two brothers and two sons, one in infancy and Ervin Jones two years ago.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. from Jolliffe Chapel with Rev. James Goodenberger officiating. Private inurnment will be later in the Sedgwick Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Valley View Villa or the United Presbyterian Church in care of the family or the mortuary."
