Nora was the daughter of Levi W. Patterson and Ella Mariah Saphira Tillman Patterson. She married Raleigh Harmon "Dick" Wheatley in Chester County, Tennessee on December 22, 1896. Nora and Dick had one child, son James Levi Pendell Wheatley. They moved to the Bardwell, Texas area circa 1911.
She had been a member of the Bardwell Church of Christ since 1914.
Nora was dearly loved by her son Pendell, and we loved & miss her. As I recall, she was always dressed in black, likely mourning cloths, as her husband Dick preceded her in death.
