Obituary: Carol Jean Mills Allred Lazenby, age 73, passed away February 17, 1996, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 1, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Irving Hinman and Jane Black Kilpatrick Mills. She married Harold D. Allred on December 5, 1941; he preceded her in death on July 14, 1964. She later married Randal Colby Lazenby on March 10, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were sealed for time and all eternity and have been inseparable ever since then. Carol graduated from East High School and was an active member of the LDS Church. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

Survived by her husband; one daughter, Gerri (Dwight) Bishop; two sons, Arthur G. (Connie) Allred and Royce L. (Barbara) Allred; 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by three brothers, Alanson S. (Madeline) Mills, (twin) Clarence (Margaret) Mills, Robert K. Mills; and one sister, Betty (Jay) Roper. Preceded in death by one son, Randy S. Allred, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 1996, 12 noon, at the Rosecrest First Ward, 3101 South 2300 East. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
