Elmer Everhart, 79, Lizton, died May 6 in his home. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife Ila, daughters Mrs. Leonard (Frances) English, Speedway; Mrs. Irene *****, Indianapolis; Mrs. Charles (Jessie) Harrison, Camby; a son, Clarence Everhart of Indianapolis; a brother Ralph Everhart of Jamestown; two sisters, Mrs. Austin Dunbar, Advance; and Mrs. Walter Otterman, Ladoga; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Jones and Matthews Mortuary Saturday, May 9, with Rev. Louis Crouch officiating. Burial was in the K of P Cemetery in Lizton.
(After retiring from farming, he worked as a grave digger at the cemetery in which he is buried.)
