Mrs. Elizabeth Jennie TUCKER, 91, of 2602 S. 22nd St., a longtime Abilenian, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday at Care Inn after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene.
The Rev. W. L. LITTLE, pastor, will officiate. Burial will b in Masonic Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamill Funeral home, 542 Hickory.
Born Sept. 27, 1864, in Coleman County, she moved with her parents to Olney when she was 2. She moved to Abilene from Kaufman in 1909. She married James B. TUCKER May 16, 1898 at Abner.
Mrs. TUCKER was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Annie MATTHEWS of Vernon, Mrs. O. K. WHITE of Stillwell, Okla., Mrs. W. W. GOlLCHER of 873 Davis, Mrs. Emma ASKINS of 2201 Ross, Mrs. M.J. McGREGOR of Keller and Mrs. L. F. BATEMAN of 2602 S. 22nd; three sons, Bernice of Shaky Oaks Lodge, B. L. of Stillwell, Okla., and C. L. of Port Aransas; a sister, Mrs. Ruby NELSON of Palestine; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sons and her husband.
The family will stay at 2602 S. 22nd.
