Ellen E. Holton, was called and wrapped in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Retreat Hospital.
Ellen was preceded in death by her father and mother, Tedoc and Leeverta Holton; and her brother-in-law, John Lancaster III.
Ellen leaves to mourn three sisters, Aileen Lancaster, Willetta Coles (Henry) and Leeverta Cosby (George Jr.); five nieces, one nephew, several great-nieces and nephews, two great-great-nephews; other relatives and friends, including close friends, Addie Hodges and Robert and Carol Robertson.
Remains rested at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where funeral services were held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
