Campbell in Morgan County Alabama, September 19, 1839. Francis and David along with David's parents, James and Mary (Stewart) Campbell, Jr., and David's brother William, arrive in the then Red River Co. before January 1, 1840. David and Francis are awarded a Third Class Headright [660 acres in Titus Co. to the estate of David S.] from the Republic of Texas. They have five children, James E. (b. abt. 1841, Republic of Texas); Sarah Jane (August 20, 1843, Republic of Texas); Margaret Ann (b. abt. 1844, Republic of Texas); Martha O. (b. Nov. 6, 1847, Texas); and Salina F. (b. November 20, 1851, Texas). After David's death in 1850 Francis next marries John Morgan Inglish/English and she has one child by him in 1857, Edward W. English. Sarah Jane marries James F. R. Williams in 1860 and they raise seven children in Lamar Co., TX. Martha O. marries Miles L. Wooldridge in 1867 and they raise at least six children in Lamar Co. Salina F. marries John Riley Wooldridge, 1873.
The 1860 Census of Lamar Co. shows Francis Campbell as head of household and living with her is her brother, A. E. Pope, and his family. Also living with her is Sarah and J. F. R. Williams. The 1870 and 1880 Census shows Francis living with her daughter's family, Martha Wooldridge. In the 1900 Census she is living in Paris with her son, Edward English.
Francis dies in 1912 in the Wooldridge household in Paris at he age of ninety-three. She is probably buried in an unmarked grave in the Campbell Cemetery two miles east of Ambia in Lamar County.
